A CRUM THING

While sitting here in my make shift room the thought came upon me as to what I thought was the most competitive all around sport for us as a family of Crums. Of course the thought of basketball and football come to mind, but I believe the true answer to the thought is VOLLEYBALL. After playing quite a few games last night at church and remember the games we had this past summer as a group of brothers in Colorado, these assumptions about the sport came to me: First you don't really need to be real fast or agile to make a good play whether with a dig, set, or spike. Second good team work is a necessity, unlike in football or basketball, Crum style, when a game can be won because of one or two players hogging the ball and scoring most of the points. The Final and main point of this discussion is that all the brothers, sister, and parents actually like and enjoy playing volleyball, I don't think the same is true for any other sport, except maybe bocce ball, but teams aren't a necessity to play! Although it may not be my favorite sport, it is in the top 5 to play in my book, and I really do think it needs to become a family tradition to play it, especially when Peter and the older brothers from out of town are present(and Michal and Jess too) ((maybe even Jude someday soon))

Simple Question with the intentions of a simple answer. Will the Gators go undefeated through this '06 season, win the SEC championship, and then the ultimate goal with a National Title of 2006 Champions?

"I LIVE"

Hey there everybody! Wow, it has been a really long since I have blogged on anything, but especially my own blog. Much has happened since my last entry in March. School did of course get out in May, and it was time for a four month long vacation. Well that too has past and starting as of today school is back in session. I know that both David and I started today, as for the othr brothers in college I am not sure.

I do know one thing for sure though, and that is that I had one of the most fun packed summers I can remember. I was blessed with the opportunity to visit and see the entire immediate family, as well as Jess, Michal, Jude, Ashley, and Aravis. I am happy to say that about three weeks total were spent with family, which is a huge blessing for me because I am vastly separated from everyone. I spent approximately one week in Colorado over the 4th of July weekend with the five oldest brothers, Michal, and Peter's family. Then returned to indiana where I also spent a few days with old friends as well as family who live there. All in all that trip for me was an awesome experience, and of course I hated it to end.

Then again this past week, or should I say the 18th through the 27th I was able to fly up to Catonsville, MD to visit Pop, Mom, David, Stephen, Jill (aka Jilly Wonka because of here huge white framed sun glasses), William, and Jesse. The week was definitely well spent doing things with the brothers and Jill. Activities included things such as: Myself and David pressure-washing and then painting the back of the house; taking people out for icecream courtesy of mom; playing ball; and last but probably not least, gamecube (probably a favorite of most). I toured David's school with a family from church who have two kids Chesca and Xander who are attending David's school as well. I also went to a pool party with David, Stephen, and some of their friends who I also quickly became well aquainted and friends with. All in all the time with the Brothers and Jill was well spent. Of course one of my favorite things when returning home is mom's cooking, and the talks I get to have with both Mom and Pop. Whether talking about everyday life here in Florida, or things occuring with the family in Maryland those talks are always meaningful to me personally. The hardest past of course is returning home from trips like that, and it does really make me appreciate family more and more with each trip I get to take.

Vacation is over for now, and I don't think it will come again soon enough for my liking. God however is so gracious to me for allowing such a good summer trip plan, and I thank Him so much for the family that I am able to visit and enjoy good memorable times with. I love you all so very much and wish you all the best the remainder of this year on into the next! God Bless you all I pray!

V for Vendetta, may turn out to be the favorite movie of some of you out there, but to me it was a complete let down. Maybe it's because when I see a preview full of action and explosions that's exactly what I plan to see in the movie, but when that doesn't turn out 100% correct I am, as a result, very disappointed. Parts of the movie were pretty sweet, but those sames parts also took place in the 2 minute long trailer. I did enjoy and like the movie, but I really hate, and put the stress on "hate" when I have an idea in my mind of how sweet the movie could be, and it turns out completely different from what my mind percieved. Because of the let down in my opinion I would give the movie a 3 out of 5 stars.

Here is a quick overview of how the past weeks have been going for me. I don't even know if anyone ever has visited this site ever, but maybe you do and will read this...School, church, and work are taking up most of my time, but in the time that is left over for me to enjoy my own things here is what I have done: I have been hanging out with my friend Richie Tillman who lives with his parnets in a house on the gulf near Apollo Beach, that is always fun to hang out there; I work out with Pat, and by the way my new max is 160 on the bench; I hang out with my best friend Chris, who I just helped get a job at the sports authority; I watch movies and tv; Of course I talk to kalie; and last of all I sleep. Although life can be boring at some points there is never a moment when I am not doing something, so i don't really have much time to reflect on those boring times. Looking ahead to things that are to come makes it easy to get by week by week. That's life for me now, and i can't complain.

Welcome to the t.c. This is my newly developed blog that I might actually take time out of my day to write stuff on. Although my life is kind of boring, and i never really have a whole lot to talk about, let alone write about, I will still try to think of things that might be of interest to those of you who know me, and even take time out of your busy day to view this site.
